Ingredients
  

  • 1 ripe banana (medium-sized, sliced)
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen strawberries
  • ½ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk (or any plant-based milk of choice)
  • ½ cup plain Greek yogurt (optional for extra creaminess and protein)
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds (optional for added fiber and omega-3s)
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup (optional for sweetness)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for a thicker texture)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients:
    Slice the banana and measure out the berries. If using fresh strawberries, hull them before blending.
  • Blend:
    In a blender, add the banana slices, strawberries, blueberries, almond milk, Greek yogurt (if using), and chia seeds. If you prefer a sweeter smoothie, add the honey or maple syrup at this point.
  • Adjust consistency:
    For a thicker smoothie, add a few ice cubes and blend again. If the smoothie is too thick, add a bit more almond milk to reach your desired consistency.
  • Serve:
    Pour the smoothie into a tall serving glass. Optionally, garnish with a few whole berries or a sprinkle of chia seeds on top.
