Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium beets, peeled and chopped
  • 1-inch piece of fresh ginger, peeled and chopped
  • 1 medium apple (optional, for sweetness)
  • 1 large carrot, peeled and chopped
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • ½ cup water (only if using a blender)
  • Ice cubes (optional, for serving)

Instructions
 

  • Prepare the ingredients:
    Peel and chop the beets, ginger, carrot, and apple (if using). Juice the lemon and set it aside.
  • Juicing (Using a Juicer):
    Pass the beets, ginger, carrot, and apple through the juicer. Collect the juice in a container.
  • Blending (Using a Blender):
    Place the chopped beets, ginger, carrot, and apple in the blender with ½ cup of water. Blend until smooth. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh strainer to extract the juice.
  • Add lemon juice:
    Stir in the freshly squeezed lemon juice into the prepared beet juice.
  • Serve:
    Pour the juice into glasses over ice cubes if desired. Enjoy chilled.

Notes

Tips:
  • Adjust sweetness by adding an extra apple or a dash of honey.
  • For a spicier kick, increase the amount of ginger.
